Does anyone else feel like this week is going so fast? By far this is one of the fastest weeks I have had to date and to that I am so excited! This week we have been blessed with excessive hot temperatures that are killing me. Literally, I have been so warm the entire week that I had to change my whole way of wardrobe!
A few weeks ago I was on my whole tantrum regarding my feels about shorts and how I offically broke up with them at 21! Since then I have never ever in my wildest dreams recieved so many DM's and text and people straight coming up to me saying they relate! Well y'all I found another modern marvels when it comes to shorts and these babes I have a major heart for! I was casually walking through target one afternoon when I was off work and I found these comfy cotton blend shorts. Knowing I was obsessed I had no clue to what color to buy so I settled for both striped and black and let me tell you these are comfy flatering and perfect!
I recocmend sizing down for comfort and buying literally every single color availabe and in stock!
How is was everyone's first weekend of summer? Can you guys believe that it is already halfway through summer and that we will be starting to think about fall soon? Crazy, to start thinking about! Last Thursday I went to an exciting grand opening for a total girl boss! And from that opening I snagged this gorgeous summer dress! Nothing that I love more is grabbing staples that you can dress up and down for summer and spring. Earlier this day I had a sweet white denim jacket and then decided to switch it out and make it a more dressed up look! One thing I love about boutiques is how different they can be! The Wight Elephant is one of the cutest boutiques that has just opened around me! The best part Y'all, you can order and experience her adorable stuff anywhere you live!
What are some pieces that you have been loving for summer?
One thing that I have been wanting for some time now is a good white denim jacket. After I cleaned out my closet I got rid of so much old in my wardrobe that was not up to date and or didn't represent that time in my life. It has been one thing on my list for months now to purchase investment and "crossover" pieces. And finally, I bit the bullet and purchased a white denim jacket last week. And let me say I have absolutely no regrets over this purchase. I can also say in all honesty that I am obsessed with white denim jackets more than I am with regular distressed denim jackets. Everyone should own one and should have them for basically any part of their wardrobe!
Also, another thing that I love is the flexibility with styling of this striped dress! I snagged this dress a few weeks ago and I have been wearing it absolutely non-stop! I mean non-stop, for one it is so comfy and it has pockets. But it is also a great piece to have for work especially in the summer!
