Snow Showers bring Spring Flowers

March 26, 2018

As I sit here and type this post I realize that I am the only one in Western PA dreaming of warmer temperatures and desperately trying to get over winter and welcome in spring. Truth be told that is hard to think about when four days ago we got pounded with 4 inches of snow! However, I can't help but dream of warm weather, pastels and white jeans. So I went ahead and did all of that in one post on a Monday for you all!

I know I go through a major reason as to why one should own white jeans every season, but in all honesty. A pair of white jeans can be a serious statement. And with being absent for a week from the blog and 2 weeks absent from shooting. I felt it was only needed to pull out some white jeans for spring.

Additionally, as we all know I have been challenging myself to a no #noshopmarch and with the month of March coming to an end in less than a week and that is something I am personally super proud of. Like I said in last weeks post I got rid of a lot of product I did not need anymore and was able to go and donate it to women's shelters and sell a lot of stuff. Doing this made me feel super good about myself and made me feel as though I was purposefully doing something with this month of no shopping. Also, I have been having a style journey, I'm starting to want to invest more in a piece of clothing and or an accessory. Then just drop pennies and get something that tears rips and or wears in 3 months down the road. I am excited because I plan to share a whole post in April about how I was able to do a successful no shop march!

Wishing you all a wonderful start to the week!

The March Challange

February 28, 2018

Well as I sit here I realized that it is one day until the start of the new month. And I am very relieved, February was a stressful month that came with so many curveballs and so many uphill battles. I am excited to be welcoming spring break this Friday and be off for a few days to get things in order. Planning blog content is one big thing I am aiming to do over break.

Besides blog planning, I am also trying to put a new effect into place this March. I am the first to admit that I shop way too much and spend too much money on clothes. But then again who doesn't do that? I know no girl that never turns down a cute pair of shoes and a cute bauble earring. Last year I went a little crazy with shopping for spring. I purchased way too much stuff and a lot of that stuff was worn once and then thrown back into my closet to never be worn again. That is something I am not proud to admit to you all!

So this month I decided to put in effect a no shopping March. Okay, you are probably thinking no way Vic can you do this!!! Yes, I know I sound legit insane but it is something I really want to be able to put in an effect. Because as a blogger we spend way too much time purchasing that we never go back to our closet and create a new look from what we have. So this month I am putting in effect a no shopping month,  and instead taking time to fall in love with her closet! Its almost like for lent I'm giving up shopping. I won't lie I am actually am excited to try this and to put this in full effect. Make sure to follow a fun little hashtag on Instagram and on here #CAABnoshopmarch to see the full progress of no shopping.

Wishing you all a wonderful Wednesday!

White trends for fall

October 9, 2017

Fall is still lacking here in Western Pa, and I am just lagging in fall content posts. Mostly because it has been so warm here and not fall like in any way. So when it isn't like fall why make fall content posts. I love fall and it is by far my favorite season on the planet. However, the lack of fall is killing me, supposedly next week is the peak season for the leaves and I am hoping it finally cools down and we finally get those fall vibes. Meanwhile I am trying to pull together a fall like wardrobe while still keeping in mind the cool factors that go into it. It is way too humid here during the day to wear a sweater so I find myself leaning towards other sleeveless lighter layering knits. Hense where this adorable knit comes from. Y'all I will not lie I have this bad boy in two colors and it never ever seems to disappoint. Literally, I find myself every season wearing it over and over and over again, until I have to take out a razor a take all the balls off it.

You get the point...... I love it dearly.

Also what I am loving, bringing old dresses into new seasons. This babydoll dress is one of my all-time favorite purchases from spring this past year. I wore this dress in my Valentine's day post and let me just say it has a special place in my closet. I love adding in different spins on fall trends, and that is why I love this look so much. Not to mention these booties from Dolce Vita, every year I buy a brand new pair for fall. And this year I snagged these babies for an unbelievable price. I am linking them right below in today's post!

I also am making a huge goal to get back on this weeks, posting schedule. I have been sorta away, midterms and busy hectic schedules have been keeping me away from getting all my posts done. However, I want to better improve that!

Wishing you a wonderful Monday!

The floral top

March 23, 2017

Happy Thursday everyone!

Yay for the weekend almost being here! I am so excited that it is finally going to be warm and sunny this weekend! Hopefully, it will be finally warm enough for a fire and smores! Now that it is finally warm enough to get outside and shoot. I have been able to pull out so many spring pieces which are making me so so happy! Recently I have been in love with wrap tops they have been something for so long that I have loved but have never thought to add to my closet. Until just recently, I picked up with one along with another one at Tj Maxx and instantly fell in love with the floral designs and the feminine but yet delicate approach these tops have. For one they are so flattering, believe me when I say I never buy anything unless its flattering and these tops are perfect! I now have added to my closet and I love them more and more every time I style them!

As for my denim today! I am wearing an exciting new companies denim. They send three designer options based on what you like and what style you like. Then you are sent the three options and are able to keep they pair at a reduced price! When I heard about redenim I just had to get involved. Nothing is better than a subscription service for your jeans! I mean seriously what is better? We all wear jeans and for myself, I live in a good pair of jeans. SO for myself, redenim is perfect for the jean obsessed out there! The team over at redenim was so sweet and was able to give my readers a special promo code! Use my code Victoria15 for your first time!

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!

How to transition to spring with white denim

February 20, 2017

Happy Monday everyone!

I hope you all are enjoying the long weekend, this past weekend we were so blessed with extremely warm temps. I spent the majority of my weekend outside or on the run! All these temps are getting me all fired up for spring! Recently I have been purchasing some new pieces for my closet for the new season that is right around the corner!

Today I am talking all about the white denim! I have seen so many things online about styling denim jeans in the winter. Since we are sorta towards the end of the winter I wanted to make a transitional spin on this trend. Keeping the booties and the black in the look makes the denim really pop I think. These jeans from the Loft are literally perfect, I have talked about them before but seriously they are fantastic. I purchased them last spring and essentially, they have become a closet staple.

I added some small spring touches to the look to bring it into the changing season. With the pops of pink and the floral bag. Styling white denim, is an easy and universal thing to wear for any season.

Wishing you all a wonderful Monday!
