The field vest, the perfect addition for Fall

Happy November everyone!

Who would have thought that October is over and November is here to greet us! I love November more than words, this year Connor and I are hosting a Friendsgiving together. This is our third year having the holiday so I am so excited to for that. But that isn't why I love November so much. November is the final season of fall and change. Before winter comes and greets us, its funny in October we very rarely had cold temperatures and or leaves fall last month. So to finally see some change and accept the fall is so nice.

These past few weeks have been no exception of crazy to say the least. A new job, school, the holidays, and finally classes. I am so happy that things are semi slowing down for the most part. However, I really want to do a life post soon. So if that is something you would like to read then let me know in the comments below! 

Now on to today's post.... 

We all know that I love a good vest, a vest can change the game. Actually writing this post right now I am in fact wearing a vest. However, this one I snagged last Tuesday at The Line styling event changed the game forever. First, off it has a pattern, second off its the perfect color and finally it is adorable and easy to wear with just about anything in one's closet. Need I say more????

White trends for fall

Fall is still lacking here in Western Pa, and I am just lagging in fall content posts. Mostly because it has been so warm here and not fall like in any way. So when it isn't like fall why make fall content posts. I love fall and it is by far my favorite season on the planet. However, the lack of fall is killing me, supposedly next week is the peak season for the leaves and I am hoping it finally cools down and we finally get those fall vibes. Meanwhile I am trying to pull together a fall like wardrobe while still keeping in mind the cool factors that go into it. It is way too humid here during the day to wear a sweater so I find myself leaning towards other sleeveless lighter layering knits. Hense where this adorable knit comes from. Y'all I will not lie I have this bad boy in two colors and it never ever seems to disappoint. Literally, I find myself every season wearing it over and over and over again, until I have to take out a razor a take all the balls off it. 

You get the point...... I love it dearly. 

Also what I am loving, bringing old dresses into new seasons. This babydoll dress is one of my all-time favorite purchases from spring this past year. I wore this dress in my Valentine's day post and let me just say it has a special place in my closet. I love adding in different spins on fall trends, and that is why I love this look so much. Not to mention these booties from Dolce Vita, every year I buy a brand new pair for fall. And this year I snagged these babies for an unbelievable price. I also am making a huge goal to get back on this weeks, posting schedule. I have been sorta away, midterms and busy hectic schedules have been keeping me away from getting all my posts done. However, I want to better improve that!

The great embrodered bootie debate

Fall is here, for some of us that can be the time to unveil brand new fashions and styles. To get out of one's comfort zones and express their individual style. When I saw my blogger babes at New York Fashion Week a couple of weeks back there were two shoe trends I kept seeing. One being white boots and two being embroidered shoes. I fell in love lets just say, as a college student and young millennial 20 something I like affordable without skipping out on luxury. 

So I started my search high and low

And I am sure you all can figure out where in fact I went to find these two trends. Tj maxx and Marshalls. I found one pair that I LOVED, but this is a trend not a forever trend for me and adjusting to $50 was not for this girl. So I continued on, and found the perfect pair on sale at Marshalls for under $20 and let me just say I was PUMPED. So the next part that came with this entire thing was how do I style them??? 

The hardest part of all... but in actuality, it was not. 

These shoes are everything I wanted a low heel, bootie, and of course a cute print. All of the recommendations I had for myself if I was in fact, going to purchase a pair of these shoes. 

My final piece of advice for everyone, trends can come and they can go. However, if you want to try a new seasonal trend don't be afraid to try it. You might fall in love with the idea and it might completely change you. I rounded up some of my very favorite embroidered booties for fall. All that are super affordable and perfect for a person on a budget that wants to try a hot new fall trend. 

The best pieces transition with

It is crazy to think about fall is right around the corner. It is even crazier to think August has made its way here. And with the last official month of summer here, it is time to start thinking about those pieces that you can wear in that awkward transitional wardrobe time.  I have officially gave up on purchasing summer clothes. It's true when you know fall is right around the corner we automatically switch off and switch onto fall. 

So without further explanation lets get on to today's post. 

A good pair of white jeans can change the game when transitioning to any season. Last week I talked about finding the perfect pair of white jeans. You can see that post right here! I love white denim and they are perfect to transition to the next season with. Alot of people even wear white denim into the fall season and throughout. No more waiting until after labor day! 

Next up has to be a good denim jacket. Currently the #Nsale has an amazing denim jacket on sale and it shows us that it is an essential to have a good denim jacket. This one I have, I wear all the time and it was under $30 which is a total steal if youa ask me! There can be chilly evenings and in that case a good denim jacket comes in hand! 

Finally denim. Ugh I love love love love denim. Did I say that I LOVE denim? I am in college my go to has to be a pair of denim shoes and a tee. Or in the winter it is denim boots and a sweater. I am beyond obsessed let me jsut say! 

We can not forget a good pair of slides. This fall we are seeing slides and espadrilles. They are so convient, confortable and look good on everyone! Literally name one person that doesnt look good in a pair of laofers? Everyone looks good in a a pair including my grandma!

Happy Monday evryone! I hope you are all off to a wonderful week! I know, I am really ready to push rewind and go back to the weekend! By far this is the busiest time of the year for me! I have so much going on. From projects in college to final presentations it can be overwelming! All I can say is that I am ready for life to slow down over the holidays and to take some more time to enjoy being with my family!

Closet Staple: The utility dress

Happy Wednesday everyone! 

I am recovering from last nights nail bitting presidental election! I literally was clued to CNN all night long! This was my first presedental election ever that I was able to vote in! And I could not be anymore prouder to be an American, and a voter! 

Now on to today's post! I know you all are thinking why is she styling this utility dress again! Back in  the summer I bought this wine colored dress. And then I styled it in late August with a summer spin. Now that it is way chiller, I finally can go and add some layers to this dress! My favorite thing about this dress is how much of a closet staple it is! It is one of those dresses that you can wear all year long! Which is something I really love, since I am such a versitle kinda girl with my clothes!
