Playing dress up with diamonds

One thing I love is going around in the local community and being able to help and support these businesses. Recently in the past few weeks, I had the opportunity to go visit Beeghly and Company Jewelers for an opportunity of a lifetime. Being able to see what works best for me and to see what I personally like is something that is so important. SO many people my generation are changing the way they think about engagement rings. Changing the summer skin game with June Jacobs

If there is one thing I pride myself on it's taking care of my skin and my face. I have always been the type of person who takes off all her makeup at night. And I have always been the type of girl that made sure to prep her skin for whatever season and or condition may be outside. And that is no exception when it comes to the summertime. We have so much in the summer, the heat, sun and let's not forget the humidity. With that being said I have to really take more precautions in the summertime with my skin. 

That's where I changed the game forever in my summer skin routine by adding in June Jacobs products. As a child June was captivated by the myriad uses for ingredients that were local to her family home in the coast of the Caspian Sea. These products have completely changed the entire summer skin care game for me! What I love the most are the ingredients that are used. June Jacobs includes ingredients such as pomegranate, goji berries, and grape seeds. These ingredients make up a June Jacobs anti-oxidant blend. This blend then is used in the fight against anti-aging and the look of aging.

 So what comes in this amazing Summer Essential Kit? 

The first of the three piece set is the, Lip Renewal 50 SPF. First off it has those active ingredients like I mentioned before. But it also is nourishing, paraben free and preservative free. It also is giving you full coverage and full coverage from the sun which is so important if you ask me. 

The protective moisturizer is also one of my favorites. Now that we are heading towards the end of the summer we still have to make sure we are applying that sunscreen. I love this moisturizer for two reasons one it has an SPF 30, and it is paraben free. The moisturizer is also super hydrating which is huge for me right now. Hydration is something my skin is always looking for and this stuff delivers on its promise. 

Finally, In the June Jacobs line, the one product I am obsessing over has to be Rapid Repair Healing Cream. This stuff is one of my ultimate favorite beauty favorites, first off you can put it anywhere. A lot of times I put this on my body after a day in the sun and it makes my skin feel 100% better instantly.  The cream supplies a 24 hour hydration and let's just say it delivers that promise. It also supplies A concentrated complex from the Swiss Alps of edelweiss extract, a rare flower known as the “survival star.” It can with stands extreme climate conditions. The product is a rockstar to have included in your summer skin routine and I have turned to it multiple times this summer when dealing with hydration problems in my skin.

The Perfect denim dress

Y'all I am having some serious catching up to do. After a solid week away from the blog to have some vacation time and rest and relaxation. I am so excited to finally be back in business around here on the blog. So what have I been up to you may ask!

Well...
 Two weekends ago, I went to Nashville with some of my very favorite blogger babes. I love these girls beyond words, and so spending a weekend with them was a huge and wonderful honor. I had such a blast with them, in the next few weeks make sure to look out for a total recap of the weekend with my favorite gals ever.  After being home from Nashville for one day. Connor and I  departed for Myrtle Beach for a week vacation with my family that Monday. It was so nice to be surrounded by family and not work and just enjoy the simple things in life.

On top of that, I am back to the old college grind today. Yes, today starts the new semester and my Junior year of college. Can you guys believe I am a junior??? Because I feel like yesterday I just started college. Now a junior, insane to me!

Now on to today's post....

Okay, I may have said this a few times but I have this thing for a good denim dress. Like what is the best piece of clothing to have for fall? It has to be a good denim dress, you can wear them with booties, slides, flats and a wedge. Making it the universal dress to have in one's closet. When I got this adorable dress from PB&J Boutique, I fell in love with the denim, of this dress. That might sound weird but the light wash of this denim makes it perfect for the transition to the next season. Not to mention the ends of this dress are frayed which adds some dramatic and fabulous detail to it. Oh and this little number has POCKETS, this is a huge important factor over here for me. PB&J has the cutest dresses for the changing season but this one stole my heart and it comes at such a good price.

I am beyond ready for fall to roll around however, I am not ready to just switch up my closet just like that. So for me, This dress makes for the perfect transition to the season. I am also loving these shoes, from Marshalls. I picked them up a few weeks ago before I left for Nashville and wore them the majority of the time I was there. Not only are they the perfect color for fall but they are the perfect wedge. Not too tall and not too short. Which makes for the perfect shoe if you ask me.

The #LWD from Groopdealz

There is nothing I love more than a good #LWD, I mean seriously a #LBD is something amazing. But in the summer the tables turn and I grow to love a good little white dress. This airy and comfy little number from Groopdealz is everything! I am loving comfy dresses right now and I mean that! In the summer I am all about essentials so when I found this number with all the fixings, I was sold.
