The Lost Kimono

Does anyone else purchase things and then forget they have them for the longest time. Until one day it reappears in the life of your closet? Well for me it was this blue embroidery kimono. Last summer around this time I purchased this gorgeous piece on vacation. And let me just say I was in love with it. It was perfect and I was determined to wear it for fall. However, the new season comes and I forget the real reason I purchased this piece. Until one day it reappears and you remember where you are going to wear it to. 

Well for me it was last week. Again let's remember I hate shorts always will and never will get over that hump in life. However, by wearing this kimono I was able to get over that hump. Let's not forget to mention it is super airy and comfortable.  A win win for both here. 

This week is so exciting for me. I am leaving for Nashville this Thursday and I am so excited to be going with some awesome blogger babes. These ladies are friends that I have met on Instagram and we are going to have some serious fun! This is my first time flying and I won't lie I am so nervous, but I am positive I will be okay! The #LWD from Groopdealz

There is nothing I love more than a good #LWD, I mean seriously a #LBD is something amazing. But in the summer the tables turn and I grow to love a good little white dress. This airy and comfy little number from Groopdealz is everything! I am loving comfy dresses right now and I mean that! In the summer I am all about essentials so when I found this number with all the fixings, I was sold. In the next few weeks, I am going to be doing a vast amount of traveling and this number is suitcase friendly and perfect for vacation. 

This is the first time ever that I ordered from Groopdealz and let me just say they have a vast amount of different and unique products. I mean seriously guys they have bomb things on there. Remember those darling little mules in blush??? Yeah, they came from Groopdealz and even better I got them for under $20! Besides my mules and my dress I also snagged for super cheap, may I add is these Kendra Scott inspired earrings. Y'all I mean look at them, they look just like KS! The best part is they were only $1.50!!! Nothing is better than that!

The modern babydoll drop dress

Happy Wednesday everyone! 

If there is one thing that I love it has to be a modern twist on an old thing. This adorable dress from, styleNmotion is just like that. The modern drop waist is something that I am sorta obsessed with right now. The criss-cross of the waist was something that I was beyond obsessed with. And let's not forget the top part. The top part of this dress was another thing I fell in love with! 

 I also am loving navy, and I love the concept that it is one of the most transitional colors to fall. YES, I am discussing fall again! But it is coming and if you are anything like me you love pieces that are easily able to be transitioned into next season. The Dancing emoji Skirt

Happy Monday Everyone!

I hope that you all had an enjoyable and relaxing weekend! I know for me I was so confused on what days of the week it was! Luckily it's back to normal over here for me, so thank goodness! This week kicks off the first week really back to the grind. So much is happening this week, the Nordstrom Anniversary sale starts this week, for those cardholders. As I covered on last week's Friday Favorites! Make sure to stay tuned for that post later this week on my favorite picks!

Now onto today's post! Summer is in full swing and I am a girl who at all costs avoids shorts. I absolutely hate shorts! They are uncomfortable, not flattering and never ever fit. So for me I have always seemed to turn to dresses and jeans in the summer months. I came across this darling skirt the other day when I was out and about and I instantly fell in LOVE. Not only is it completely flattering but it is a piece that can be worn in so many different ways! I styled this skirt with heels and with flat slides. And let me just say even earlier in the day I styled it for work with Tennis shoes. (I love a good tennis shoe) The versatility of a good skirt is endless and let me just say this one is perfect! Even funnier I absolutely feel like the emoji girl, only I'm not wearing red. 

To make it all a little more better it is under $20. Yes, it is only $14.99 which if you ask me is a solid deal! I'm dancing in this Emoji Skirt even more now, especially because it's under $20!
