Happy Monday Everyone!

I hope that you all had an enjoyable and relaxing weekend! I know for me I was so confused on what days of the week it was! Luckily it's back to normal over here for me, so thank goodness! This week kicks off the first week really back to the grind. So much is happening this week, the Nordstrom Anniversary sale starts this week, for those cardholders. As I covered on last week's Friday Favorites! Make sure to stay tuned for that post later this week on my favorite picks!

Now onto today's post! Summer is in full swing and I am a girl who at all costs avoids shorts. I absolutely hate shorts! They are uncomfortable, not flattering and never ever fit. So for me I have always seemed to turn to dresses and jeans in the summer months. I came across this darling skirt the other day when I was out and about and I instantly fell in LOVE. Not only is it completely flattering but it is a piece that can be worn in so many different ways! I styled this skirt with heels and with flat slides. And let me just say even earlier in the day I styled it for work with Tennis shoes. (I love a good tennis shoe) The versatility of a good skirt is endless and let me just say this one is perfect! Even funnier I absolutely feel like the emoji girl, only I'm not wearing red. 

To make it all a little more better it is under $20. Yes, it is only $14.99 which if you ask me is a solid deal! I'm dancing in this Emoji Skirt even more now, especially because it's under $20!

Finally, let's talk about the Nordstrom Half Yearly sale! So many of you took to Twitter on Wednesday to answer my poll question pertaining to the half yearly! Side note: If Y'all are on twitter follow a sister I am new and getting used to the whole twitter world. I also extended the question to my Instagram fam and they all answered! You all wanted to see my picks and my tricks for shopping the sale. Today I am going to show some picks I am loving and some of my tricks that I have used when shopping this sale! In the next few weeks, I am going to be covering it all! The restocks, picks, favorites, and more tricks! 

Tips and tricks when it comes to the sale: 

The sale starts on July 13th when cardholders are able to shop the sale early and basically get first dibs. But don't worry the sale opens up to the public later this month on July 21st. 

The sale runs basically for a month from July 13th to August 6th. Then prices shoot back up to normal. 

The catalog has been released and let's say there are some serious goodies! You can access it right here !

It has been the honest time ever since I have talked to you guys I feel like! Enough said I miss you guys so much! Coming back from a lonnnnng weekend can be hugely refreshing and inspirational! I have so many good and wonderful ideas to bring to you guys especially this month! A new month is finally here and I could not be happier that the summer is almost over. Yes, you heard me correct I am a girl that isn't a huge fan of summer. I'm much more a fall kinda girl, so now that we are in that mid-point of summer I am so excited to start planning more and more content for the chillier months ahead! 

But that's in the future and we should discuss the present! 

Today here on the blog I am kicking off Wednesday with a bracelet for a cause! So many people are starting such amazing and inspirational companies and y'all let me just say when I was told the story about Gray Hemlock and what they stood for I fell in love with the concept and the products. Then I got onto their site to be welcomed by the stories and ideas of people creating ethical women's accessories. All under $30 may I add in! I was hooked and beyond obsessed with the concept of this truly awesome company. 

I am wearing the Irma Bracelet and guys how cute is it! For all my Western Pa people it is black and gold and perfect for #pittsburghnation. SO that's an absolute win, win situation.
