Black on Black

September 25, 2017

Possible one of the best combinations on this planet has to be the combination of black on black. Nothing is so slimming and so easy to wear than black denim?? I have always loved black on black with a pop of color of some sort as the shoe or the bag. So for me, the change in the season means a change in style.

One thing I have been loving recently is this tee from She In. Not only is this top super cute and stylish but it also is made from tee shirt material making it super darn comfortable. Not to mention the little pops of gingham makes for it to be trendy but yet still super comfortable. As I always state my closets consists of trendy pieces but also essential pieces I know that I can have for years. That is how I feel about these two pieces. The rockstar super skinny pants from Old Navy is something close to my heart. Not only do they compliment any body type, but they are also so so super comfortable. And let us not forget they are super affordable and fit like an extremely expensive pair of pants.

Besides last Friday being the first day of fall, and I totally missed it. This week I have updated my tabs here on Coffee And A Blonde. An all-new "Fall Shop" tab with a huge amount of fall goodies has made its full appearance here. I have rounded up sweaters, dresses, and boots all perfect for fall!!! I also have updated my side tab with my current hair favorites. If you guys don't follow me on Instagram I have cut all my hair off. Literally, my hair is short and is gone, I am writing a whole blog post this week about the whole transformation and why I did it. Including a huge roundup of all my favorite short hair products, that have saved the short hair game for me!

I love the variety of colors, and styles! This rust color is one of my favorites and I think it is perfect to wear into late winter! I paired this gorgeous slouchy tunic with this Target scarf that I got in the dollar bin! Yes! The dollar bin at target has some of the best stuff in it! Pair some OTK boots and you have an easy and super comfy outfit, perfect for the holidays! I ordered mine in a size medium for the solid purpose of I like things to be a little baggy and of course cover my bum!

Closet Staple: The utility dress

November 9, 2016

Happy Wednesday everyone!

I am recovering from last nights nail bitting presidental election! I literally was clued to CNN all night long! This was my first presedental election ever that I was able to vote in! And I could not be anymore prouder to be an American, and a voter!

Now on to today's post! I know you all are thinking why is she styling this utility dress again! Back in  the summer I bought this wine colored dress. And then I styled it in late August with a summer spin. Now that it is way chiller, I finally can go and add some layers to this dress! My favorite thing about this dress is how much of a closet staple it is! It is one of those dresses that you can wear all year long! Which is something I really love, since I am such a versitle kinda girl with my clothes!

The oversized flannel

 Happy Wednesday everyone!
We are halfway through another week and I could not be more ready for the weekend to come! Saturday is my birthday and I feel kinda nervous about turning 20! I don't know why, age is just a number I know but I just can't believe that I'm actually going to be 20! My big birthday wish this year is for a day of doing nothing. Being in college, working and running a blog dedicates a lot of time. I can't tell you the last time I actually had the opportunity to sit down and read a book or a magazine! I took the whole weekend off and have no clue what is going to happen! I guess that's sorta fun because I have no clue what to expect!

Also, can we take a moment to discuss how it is finally chilly enough for OTK boots!!! I mean I am so excited that finally, I can pull them out! Also, I am not ready to put away those white jeans! I decided what would be better than to transition them into my fall wardrobe! I love this combo it is so chic and so clean! It is one of my favorite combos!

Also make sure to check back Friday for a very special post!

How to wear overalls into fall

October 10, 2016

Overalls: Zaful, Top: J Crew, Bag: Confetti and Co, Vest: Tj Maxx, Sunnies: Ray Bann

When I thnk of overalls it makes me think of being five again running around with pigtails in my hair.  For about a year now I have been really wanting a pair of overalls! I think they are so chic and can be worn so many different ways and basically can be worn for any season! I recently found the perfect pair, from Zaful and let me tell you they are pretty amazing! I instantly fell in love with the cut and wash of the jean! I love that you can crop them since I'm short I love cropping my jeans!

Since the beginning of fall, I have been wearing them endlessly. From throwing an oversized blanket scarf on with them or layering them with a vest. They are that one piece of clothing that you can wear so many different ways! I am slightly obsessed with the tons of different ways you can wear overalls!

Also, did you all check out the new look of Coffee And A Blonde? I have been wanting to change the carasol for so long now! Finally, I got the opportunity to do it! And I couldn't be any more happier with it! Little updates make the biggest impressions! I hope you all like it as much as I do!

Wishing you all a wonderful Monday!

The Sleeveless sweater

September 28, 2016

Happy Wednesday everyone!
We are halfway through another week! Yay! Things have been so stressful I have been having Midterms all week and I am just beyond stressed and super ready for Fall break to come and distract me from school for a few days!

Today on the blog I wanted to kinda conclude my transitioning to fall lookbook! By now it is starting to get super chilly and Fall-like here at home! Thank goodness!! I had to go to class the other day with long sleeve tee and a scarf and still was freezing to death! I recently purchased this adorable sleeveless sweater from Tj Maxx and I am obsessed with it! First off it's perfect for right now with still semi warm temps but also great for later on when it gets super chilly! I am beyond obsessed with it and the versatility of it! Also, can we talk about this hat??? I received it in my Popsugar must have box and I am in love!!! Seriously I have been wanting a black fedora for so long now and I was so excited when I saw it came in my box! If you don't have a Popsugar subscription I highly recommend! Use my code SHOP5 to get $5 off your first box! And of course look effortlessly chic for Fall!
Wishing you all a wonderful week!
